This studio explores the idea of the sectionally embedded object and a set of resulting architectural effects. The studio begins with a primitive volumetric solid as a palette for exploration.
We started with a cube. Then we used an object to cuts into the cube and create several space conditions: sunken-in spaces, punctures and cracks. Through the rotation and wiggle of the cutting object, we made a gap in between the cutting object and remaining part of the original cube which we caled it gray space. By changing the material and function of two different objects, the cube had ben vanished into ghost frame and contained the main circulation to give a unique experience of penetration of inside and outside.
