This project was mean to explore another set of possible future for the architecture of the airport. Different from traditional methods, it was seeking new effects through a rigorous orchestration of sensory experience by pushing the envelope of material effects. I started from exploring compound volumetric plastic models incorporate multiple layers of surface & poche. Then I regenerated the form structure by wrapping, folding and forming paper. After that, I detailing the variation of envelope structure to achieve possibility based on “high-tech”. The programs thus will follow the sensory experience and material effects created by envelope.
